Santorini
Santorini is probably the most photographed island in the Greek Islands.
It also is the most visited and commercialized and is especially popular with
Americans.  Despite this, it's definetly worth the trip due to the spectacular
geography of the island. The volcanic center of the island blew up 4,000 years ago
leaving a flooded caldera.  The towns that are on the island now are on the edge
of caldera.  In the middle of the caldera smoking lava plug can be found.
